Straight answers, before you even ask.
Common questions from businesses considering a new IT partner — answered plainly.
General
What industries do you typically work with?
Professional services, manufacturing and distribution, nonprofits, financial services, healthcare-adjacent businesses, and local government — along with plenty of others. Good IT practices travel well across industries.
Do you offer support outside of normal business hours?
Our help desk runs 7AM–5PM PST, Monday through Friday, and managed clients have access to after-hours emergency support.
Managed IT
What is the difference between Managed IT and Co-Managed IT?
With Managed IT, we are your complete IT team — support, security, and strategy. With Co-Managed IT, we work alongside your existing internal IT staff, adding capacity and specialized expertise where it counts.
Do you work with businesses that already have an internal IT person or team?
Yes — that is exactly what our Co-Managed IT service is for. Your team stays in the lead; we bring extra hands, L2 and L3 escalation support, specialized skills, and leadership-level guidance when you want it.
Can you help with a one-time project even if we are not a managed client?
Yes. Network upgrades, cloud migrations, custom development, AI adoption — we take on standalone projects for businesses that are not on a managed agreement.
Security
What does “defense-in-depth” security actually mean for my business?
It means multiple layers of protection working together — monitoring, backups, access controls, and staff training — so no single failure puts your business at risk. You get the confidence to move forward, knowing the layers are in place.
Getting Started
How quickly can we get started?
Usually within a few weeks. We start with a conversation and a look at your current environment, then onboard in a way that does not disrupt your team’s day.
How does pricing typically work?
Managed services run on a predictable monthly agreement based on your environment and needs; projects are scoped and quoted up front. Either way, you will get a straight answer after a short conversation.
